Learning objectives:
- Use the four operations with whole numbers to solve problems Students will interpret a multiplication equation as a comparison and solve word problems involving multiplication and division.
- Gain familiarity with factors and multiples Students will find all factor pairs for a whole number and recognize that a whole number is a multiple of each of its factors.
4.NBT Number and Operations in Base Ten
Learning objectives:
- Generalize place value understanding for multi-digit whole numbers Students will read and write multi-digit whole numbers using base-ten numerals, number names, and expanded form.
- Use place value understanding and properties of operations to perform multi-digit arithmetic Students will use place value understanding to round multi-digit whole numbers to any place.
4.NF Number and Operations—Fractions
Learning objectives:
- Extend understanding of fraction equivalence and ordering Students will recognize and generate equivalent fractions.
- Understand decimal notation for fractions, and compare decimal fractions Students will express a fraction with denominator 10 as an equivalent fraction with denominator 100.

Learning objectives:
- Solve problems involving measurement and conversion of measurements Students will know relative sizes of measurement units within one system of units.
- Represent and interpret data Students will make a line plot to display a data set of measurements in fractions of a unit.
